Easy weight loss guide. Page 3

The same will happen with anyone who tries to reduce body weight by reducing water content (by either limiting water intake or reducing or even eliminating sodium (salt) intake). If you simply drink not enough, very soon you body will try to save all water left, usually keeping it right under your skin, which will give you bloated appearance. If you stop sodium (salt) intake, in no longer than 3 days (72 hours) your body will react by increased production of a hormone aldosterone, which in turn will cause unwanted water retention. With the help of sodium (salt) reduction you can get some cuts, but for no longer than 3-4 days.

That is it. Any long term salt or water deprived diet in order to loose weight is useless and can be a health damaging practice. If you want to reduce body weight and be healthy you MUST drink enough of a good quality water.
